Julian Manzara Quartet is known for thrilling audiences with dramatic performances focused on original songs that feature improvised solos and touches of blues, funk, and other styles. Guitarist and composer Julian Manzara aims to express love and respect for all living things with his intense, yet tasteful playing. The group is rounded out by the explosive talent of vibraphonist Levi Schwartzberg, and a creative, mature rhythm section of bass and drums. This is a unique musical experience which echoes the histories of artists such as Jeff Beck, Thelonious Monk, and Billie Holiday, while remaining a new contribution to improvised music in and of itself.
